Peanuts Take the Cake on National Dessert Month

It’s that time of the year again, National Dessert Month. Families and friends come together to celebrate and enjoy yummy desserts from cakes and pies to cookies and ice-cream and this list goes on. Peanuts or peanut butter can be enjoyed in any kind of dessert. Whether you create your own at home or enjoy one at a restaurant be sure to treat yourself to a peanut dessert.

Let me share with you some great recipe ideas. No meal is complete without a peanut dessert.  Try this Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pound Cake which is nothing short of delicious! For the peanut lovers, sprinkle some chopped peanuts instead of the chocolate chips.

No time to bake? Try the No-Bake Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars or the Chocolate Peanut Butter Parfait to splurge on a decadent dessert. You can also try this delicious Peanut Butter & Jelly Cookies that will leave you craving for more.  This is a perfect opportunity to indulge whichever way you desire. Peanuts and peanut butter add that one-of-a-kind flavor that complements almost any dessert.

Have a happy peanutty dessert month and enjoy the sweetest month of the year!
